The Friends of Guildford Choral Society is a registered charitable trust which aims to promote choral music particularly supporting the activities of Guildford Choral.
The trust was established in 1984 with funds raised by choir members. The trustees' policy is to preserve the trust's capital and to distribute income as grants.
Recent grants from the trust have enabled the choir to work with top orchestras such as The Hanover Band and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and to promote concerts in the new G Live concert venue. The FGCS also provided financial support for the Hodie recording with Naxos.
In certain circumstances they can provide assistance with subscriptions for individuals.
Information about making bequests or donations to the trust can be obtained by emailing the Chairman of the Trustees, Nick Caiger at email@example.com
